North Woods Retreat near Duluth and Lake Superior

A peaceful home base to explore Duluth sites (15-20 min. drive), Lake Superior and Spirit Mountain. This comfy space is nestled on 40 acres with private trails in the north woods away from the buzz of the city! You have the entire lower unit with large windows looking out over a meadow and forest. Features a private entrance, kitchen & full bathroom; your 2nd bedroom space is part of the large great room. Upstairs is owner's home. We welcome you to come relax in a tranquil, natural setting. The space This unique rental is custom built so every window has a view of the surrounding private woods! It was designed to host guests. You have the entire lower level with a private keyless entrance (entry with a keypad). Your lower level apartment has a private bedroom with a door, a kitchen stocked with dishes/pots/pans to make simple meals, a table and chairs, stove/range, microwave and full sized refrigerator. Your private full sized bathroom features a tub/shower and fluffy towels. The spacious living space features large windows with great natural lighting. The second bedroom space is part of an an open floor plan to the living room area and includes a bunk bed with a twin over a full sized bed, sleeper sofa, (two bonus twin mattresses for the floor). The master bedroom has a Queen bed and ample floor space for a second mattress or pac-n-play. The living room space also has two couches, a high top table, an electric fireplace unit and smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon prime movies and Roku channels. Go explore our grounds and walk, ski, or snowshoe our wooded 40 acres featuring a pond and blueberry and raspberry picking in the summer! You have access to all of our private wooded trails that we built and groomed over the years for ATV fun. (Please inquire and confirm with us prior to bringing your own ATV). No children or pets live in the home and we are light footed and rarely there, but as available as you need us to be to assist with touring our beautiful area near Duluth! A second unit upstairs is the owner's home and may be available to rent for larger groups in the future. Other things to note All cell phones appear to work on our grounds, however some work better than others and you may need to stand by an outer wall or window for best reception to make phone calls.
