This carriage house is located at the back of the property of a 111-year-old historic home 4 blocks from downtown shopping and dining. We're 15 minutes from Allerton Park & Retreat Center, 25 minutes to Champaign and 30 minutes from Decatur. You’ll enjoy the comfy bed, two dining/game spaces, TV area, a small kitchen with cooktop, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and a full bathroom. It is great for a weekend get-away! Come to enjoy Monticello! Completely private with own entrance. Guest access is limited to the apartment above the garage only. The main house, back deck, front porch and the garage itself are off limits. We typically only see guest if we are outside after work or on the weekends. Communication is best through the Airbnb app. The neighborhood is very quiet and is great for walking. Getting to Downtown is a very easy walk. There you can enjoy restaurants and shopping! The best way to get around is either by vehicle or walking. If you have the time and the weather permits, you need to check out Allerton Park. The park is a quick 10 minute drive. This historic park is definitely worth a visit.
