Ship builders home close to everything

This house was built by my grandfather and his father in the 1930s. My grandfather worked his entire life for a local yacht yard and you get that feel living in the space. Conveniently located on a quiet side street in downtown Southwest Harbor, it has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (queen/double) and one full bath. Amenities include cable tv and wifi, but my husband and I think the best amenity is sitting on the back deck and enjoying the sounds of the seasons. The space The house is located on Wesley Ave in Southwest Harbor Maine. Southwest Harbor is located on the "quietside" of the island. Wesley Avenue is a great location. It's a short (2-5 minutes) walk to the several tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence restaurants as well as an ice cream shop, village arts center, gift shops, marina and the Island Explorer bus stop. The "quietside" features the western side of Acadia National Park .. Seawall picnic area, Wonderland trail, Ships Harbor trail, Flying Mountain trail, Acadia Mountain trail, Echo Lake and Bass Harbor Light are all on the "quietside". The house has a fully equipped kitchen with seating for four and small living room on the first floor. The cozy living room has comfy LLBean funriture, cable tv and heirloom books. The second floor has 4 small rooms. There are two bedrooms. One has a queen platform bed and the other has a double bed. The bathroom has a tub and shower. There is a very small room off the bathroom with twin bed, but to access this room you need to go through the bathroom so I do not count is as a bedroom (however it could be used for a small child). There is a deck on the back with gas grill. The deck overlooks the large wooded fenced in back yard. Guest access You are welcome to use everything at our house. This includes the washer and dryer in the unfinished basement.
