The Cabin Under the Stars is a magical place tucked away in the Joshua Tree hills. This is the ultimate space to retreat, unwind, find yourself, breathe & explore. A healing, colorful environment to watch the sky, the clouds & stars at night. Miles from any cares of city life, the Cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Originally part of the Mojave Rock Ranch Resort, this property is the epitome of "JT Style", in which rustic, artistic & luxury elements combine in unexpected & delightful ways. The space As you enter the front gate, you will be greeted by the colors of the cabin and magic of the desert. There are private patios in the front and back, perfect for sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. The 2 bedroom cabin (one king bed, one queen bed) has a fully equipped retro kitchen. Each room offers perfect views of the vast desert landscape, and abundant natural light. The cabin sits on 10 beautiful acres, with vast view from every angle and comfortable outdoor seating for a night of relaxing and star gazing. Joshua Tree National Park entrance is 15 minutes away. In the artists' community of Joshua Tree, you can also explore the galleries and shops and grab a bite to eat. Please feel free to ask us for suggestions for special trips, from rock climbing, trail riding, guided hikes and night sky viewing venues to massage, yoga, and spa treatments. **The indoor fireplace can NOT be used at this time • DEPOSIT We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages! More services added regularly, keep checking back! Guest access You will be sent a number code for the front door upon booking. Your code will be active ONLY during the time of your stay. Driveway parking is available for multiple vehicles, please park in front of the RED house. Other things to note • Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • The fireplace can NOT be used at this time • CLEANING FEE As the top Professional Management Company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage. 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. • ROADS The cabin is located about 5 miles down dirt roads, please drive with caution and arrive before nightfall when possible. • PROPERTY The house sits on a shared 10 acre lot. You probably won’t see anyone while you’re there and the amenities are not shared but you may see people walking to and from their car to the cabin as they’re continuing on with their day. We have the best service for our rural area but people needing full time high speed might not find those needs met here. Not suitable to work from home from this location. • INSIDE Please note that the cabin does not have bedroom doors, the doors are a thick linen material that can be closed for privacy but they are not a solid barrier between the bedrooms and the living room. • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. • HOT TUB - legal Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the pool and spa. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
