The space Come share our home in Takoma Park, DC - near Takoma Metro: private garden entrance (with patio and bistro set to sit and sip your coffee on a beautiful day) to basement apartment (that feels cool in the summer, but is plenty warm in the winter and doesn't feel like a basement at all!) Cozy and quaint with character. light and nice finishes. Furnished (Full size bed with pillow top mattress, electric fireplace, sitting area, kitchen wares - all the basics you need, really:) One Large L shaped space - equivalent to a one bedroom: One side is kitchen (porcelain tile and lots of counter and cabinet space, gas stove, microwave) with dining area; sitting area, and sleeping area. Private bathroom is off the kitchen and is newly renovated with stone finishes and large tub. Large yard with garden and sitting areas. This is a shared environment co-existing with resident living upstairs with one child and pets, share laundry room and yard. Wi-fi is available. Only a few blocks from Takoma Metro, 62 & 54 bus line that goes to Takoma or Petworth metro. Across the street from Takoma Park Recreation Center with swimming pool and exercise rooms; dog park pending; convenient to grocery stores; farmer's market on Sundays; good wining and dining :) Back yard, bistro patio, fire-pit and sitting areas, garden, hammock, entire private apartment in basement, laundry room, and free street parking. Also, recreation center across street with pool, tennis, exercise center and takoma park downtown with shops, grocery and local family restaurants. Small town feel in big city.
