The space ATTENTION: Unless you are a crow, we are not close to Telluride ski area - it is at least one hour drive away when roads are dry on a good day. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY. EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS AND SUPPLIED IS AS DESCRIBED. IF YOU FIND SOMETHING MISSING OR NOT WORKING, PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP. THERE IS NO FULL KITCHEN. THE HOUSE IS SPLIT LEVEL AND OWNERS OCCUPY THE GROUND FLOOR. Guests get an exclusive private use of the entire upper floor of a two-story house, which includes a living room, two bedrooms, a 3/4 bathroom and a huge deck. The rooms are on the second floor of a historic Victorian house (built in 1898) - owners live on the ground level, but guests have a private entrance and an exclusive use of the entire upper level and the deck. There is a small fridge, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster and a coffeemaker for those alpine start mornings, otherwise the Artisan Bakery is just around the corner. We also have a propane grill on the deck, rice cooker with a steamer and a crockpot and an airfryer for your additional cooking needs. Dinnerware, flatware, wine glasses and coffee filters are provided. There are essentials for quick breakfast and grilled dinner BUT NO FULL KITCHEN. We also provide ground coffee for the first morning and tea. BEDROOMS: one bedroom has a queen bed, the second room has a full bed and a desk. Guests enjoy luxurious linen sheets and cozy waffle-pattern towels. Both bedrooms equipped with lamps with USB outlets for all your charging needs. There are hangers, luggage racks in each room. Both bedrooms are equipped with AC mini-splits. COMMON ROOMS: the living room has a couch, TV and a dining table (extendable) with four chairs. The room opens up onto the outside deck. TV streams Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu. We also have books, board games and local hiking maps and guides. Kitchen area connects to the bathroom - it's an old house that was not built in mind for indoor plumbing at first. PLEASE GIVE US AN ACCURATE GUEST COUNT AT TIME OF RESERVATION (If you can. We understand that plans change.) Any unreserved guests will be subject to additional fees upon check-in. If you need a separate bed for your third person, we can set up an airbed - please let us know in advance. In November 2021, voters of Ouray approved a 15% excise tax on short-term vacation rentals to fund affordable housing and infrastructure projects. It is in addition to the 3.5% lodging and occupation tax. The combined 18.5% is not collected by AirBnB, therefore it is included in the room rate. We apologize for resulting higher sales tax and fees, but currently there are no mechanisms available for AirBnB to collect lodging taxes. Therefore we can't guarantee the deck being snow or ice free to the guests in the winter.
