Beautiful Home! 100 yards from the shores of Skagit Bay with gorgeous view of the Sound from the living room. Comfortable 3 br 2 1/2 bath. Samsung Smart TV in living room. Updated kitchen with open plan to dining/living room & panoramic view of Skagit Bay. 20 minutes to Anacortes or Mt. Vernon/Burlington and WSDOT Ferries. The space Full kitchen equipped with stove, double wall oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, high capacity washer and dryer, coffee maker (both Mr. Coffee and a Nespresso!) Bring your own coffee or Nespresso pods. Buy (EMAIL HIDDEN) Pack N Play , high chair, booster seat and some toys available for infants/toddlers. Patio area off dining and living room for BBQ's and watching the sun set at night. All beds have linens and towels are available for guest use. Kitchen has some basic essentials like salt, pepper and other seasoning. Pantry available for guest use during stay. This is a comfortable HOME for you and your family to enjoy as we do any time of year. Plenty of parking and there is even an RV electrical hookup available for small campers. The house is upstairs and there is a small SEPARATE ENTRANCE studio unit (also available for rent under Chateau Shambala Nook) downstairs. (May be rented by another tenant at the time of your stay - will not use your space) Guest access You will have full access to the entire main home! 3 beautiful bedrooms with a HUGE master bedroom. 2 1/2 baths with 2 showers and 1 tub. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, wine opener, knives, baking pans and sheets, kitchen towels, dish soap, all included for guest use. We no longer provide individual shampoo/conditioner or shower soaps due to Covid-19. ****There are security cameras on outside of home that point to all entrances of the home for home and guest safety. Any attempt to disable, block, occlude or cover security cameras are a violation of the house rules and will result in a loss of security deposit. Guests may be asked to leave with no refund of payments made. Police also may be called.*** Other things to note It is recommended to shop for groceries before you get into town! There is a small market in La Conner, but may not have all you are looking for. They are great for ice, milk and bread but are a bit more expensive. I usually shop in Burlington/Mt. Vernon at the Fred Meyer, Albertson's or Haggan's if coming from Seattle. Anacortes has a Safeway. There will be one roll of paper towels in the kitchen.Toilet paper will be in all bathrooms with one roll on and one spare. You may need to account for your family's toilet paper usage during your stay beyond the rolls provided. There will be dish washing detergent under sink (usually 3-4 pods) and 3-4 Tide washing machine pods in cabinet above dishwasher. There are Downey fabric softener beads in a cup next to laundry pods A BBQ grill is available for your use. There is no guarantee that the propane will be full as weather and other factors might affect propane tank. You can have it filled for your use during your stay. Please clean the grill after each use to keep it nice for all future guests. Fishing, crabbing and clam digging is available on the shores but make sure to get a proper fishing license and check in with Fish and Game regarding seasons and dates for crabbing. The bay is perfect for kayaking or stand up paddle boarding - bring your own! The water is very cold and the currents are strong. Be mindful and always wear a life jacket! The tides are extreme and if you are not keeping tabs on time, you CAN get stranded in the mud flats. There are many festivals in the area with the most famous being the Daffodil Festival in March and the Tulip Festival in April. A pack and Play is available for children under the age of 2. Please make sure to bring your own sheets/blankets for the pack & Play as we do not provide them. There are several board games available for your use. Please take care to put all pieces back in boxes and keep in the condition you found them. These are all brand new! A flat screen SmartTV is available in the living room. There is NO CABLE for local channels, however you can access Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix and other streaming channels for shows. Who wants TV when there is so much to do outdoors??? Pets are welcome, but you will take full responsibility for all damages caused by pets. Any damage to home, furniture or pet hair found in beds or on furniture that can't easily be removed will cause entire security and pet deposit to be forfeited. NO DOGS ON FURNITURE, INCLUDING BEDS!!!!!! Please clean up after all pet "bathrooming" on the property. STRICT NO SMOKING INSIDE HOUSE. Prior to arrival, go online to get the Washington State Discovery Pass to have access to all state parks! It's only $35 for the entire year. Usual fee for state park entries is $8-$12 or more! There are many state parks to visit local to the house, including Washington Park in Anacortes, Deception Pass Park in Oak Harbor and so many others.
