Broadband, Internet, TV. Enjoy a peaceful, private stay among trees, birds and deer. Visit Bandera, Texas' Cowboy capitol, or hike at Hill Country State Natural Area. Good for couple, 1-2 kids. Pets with prior permission. Queen bed, small sofa futon for 2 children. Full kitchen, full bath with large shower. The space Charming tiny house cabin with full bedroom, kitchen with Reverse Osmosis drinking water and bathroom with large shower (real plumbing!) on the river. Large deck doubles the living space and overlooks the magical treetops, cliffs and river. This is a great quiet retreat for recharging your life and love. Wooden stairs to the riverbed level. Kitchen is furnished with a full size refrigerator, electric stove, pots, pans and utensils -- We supply French press and drip coffee maker. WiFi and streaming TV. MiniSplit AC/Heat cools and heats the cabin. Bring charcoal to grill out doors, and if burn ban is not in effect, build a campfire. River levels are slowly rising due to recent rainbow to date, too low for kayaking. There are stairs to the cabin and the terrain is rocky with a gentle slope with more stairs. Not suitable for those with mobility impairments or children under 7 years. Our cabin is situated well above the Medina River flood line. Like most riverfront property, there are neighbors who either live full time or vacation on weekends on either side of the property. Please respect their privacy. If you are able, we ask that you recycle paper, plastic, tin and aluminum to transport back home with you for recycling. Bandera County has ended its recycling program. Please help us do our best to keep the river clean! If you want our unending gratitude and have a truck, double-bag and take your trash with you! We have trash transfer station access only 1 morning a week. Water in the cabin is potable, but taste is improved with our Britta filter pitcher. The freezer is stocked with ice trays, but no ice maker. Bringing a bag of ice may be helpful, especially in warm weather. We provide bed linens and blankets for the futon sofa in living room and the queen bed in the bedroom. If you need more linens you will need to bring them with you. Please bring beach towels if you plan to use towels outdoors. For larger groups of friends or family consider also renting our companion cabin next door listed on Airbnb "New Tiny Cabin on Clear Medina River" Guest access Guests will have entire driveway for parking, the entire cabin and the two lakefront lots to explore and enjoy. Please respect the privacy and peace of the properties adjacent belonging to our two neighbors. Other things to note Two night minimum stay. The Tree Top Cabin on the Medina River was built in 2014. We fell in love with the special touches such as the covered deck and inside the handmade counter and other design features that make it cozy and unique. Ideal for two adults or one couple and 1-2 kids. The futon couch is not suitable for 2 adults, but if you wish for 2 couples to share this small space, bring your own inflatable mattress. We do not have a landline phone connection. Cell reception is adequate but not robust. We have broadband WiFi for the Internet and streaming Netflix, Amazon and HBO Max, and have a Blu Ray player and a small DVD collection to share. Note: We have installed a water filter for drinking water.
