This lovely space is part of our family home. It is a large, sunny terrace ("walk-out" basement) apartment that includes a living room, pool table, full kitchen, full bath and bedroom furnished with both a queen and double bed. Enjoy peaceful views of yard from 4 full-sized glass sliding doors. A roll-away bed can be made available for a 5th guest at an extra charge. Stream your favorite video and audio apps on the tv. Absolutely no parties and no unregistered guests. Our home is on a large, wooded lot and is not part of a neighborhood. We think you'll enjoy the quiet! We want you to be welcomed in our home but cannot accommodate parties. For the safety of our family and our other guests, unregistered guests are not permitted without express written permission from us. We are close to restaurants, shopping, and a national park. Roam around the pond and wooded lot or sip coffee on the porch overlooking the yard. We border Kennesaw Mountain National park so it's a quick drive over to the entrance for hiking and running trails. Our space is open and cheerful. You may hear our friendly sweet pups Wrigley Field and Ernie Banks upstairs, and are welcomed to say hi when they are out in the fenced yard around the pond. The kitchen is NOT equipped with a disposal so we ask that you please refrain from putting food waste in the sink drain. Please put any waste in the trash can. When you arrive, drive around the left side of the house to park in the rear of the house. You are welcomed to park in front of the lower garage doors facing the pond. I will text you a door code before you arrive if I am not on site to greet you. I work mostly from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can usually respond to your requests quickly when you need assistance. Please feel free to text or call me for anything you'd like help with. If you need assistance immediately, please call me at the number on your reservation. The sliding glass doors open to the porch and yard. Feel free to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful views or stroll around the pond. The space comes stocked with coffee for a good start to your mornings. My husband, pups, and I live on the main floor of the house. We won't be in your way but are available for whatever help you may need while here. Our home is not in a neighborhood so it is very private and quiet. There is a 2-mile path down John Ward Rd that is nice for a leisurely walk or a short run. We use it all the time! We are not close to public transit routes but Uber and Lyft are very active in the area and usually arrive within 5 minutes of booking. Quiet hours are 11pm -6:00am to ensure that we can all get a good night's rest. Airbnb does not allow third-party bookings. If a different person than the one on the reservation arrives we can not allow them to stay for safety reasons. Please message us if you have a question on this policy.
