The U Ondry apartment is part of the over 100-year-old Palčovka cottage, which was built by our great-grandfather. It offers an authentic atmosphere, a fireplace with free wood, and peaceful stillness right by the Kvačianska dolina valley. There is a barn with seating, games, and a grill, as well as a cellar bar. You can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, play board games, have some grilled meat, or cook a goulash. In summer, sheep graze nearby, and trout swim in the pond. The perfect place to combine tradition, nature, and comfort without the anonymity of a hotel. Be part of Palčovka. The space The apartment has a separate entrance and offers comfortable amenities for relaxing in the mountains. Inside, you will find a living room with seating and a wood-burning stove, creating a typical mountain atmosphere. The apartment also includes a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and a Smart TV connected to the internet. The apartment does not have a traditional TV signal, but you can watch TV programs or your own content – NETFLIX – over the internet. Palčovka also includes common areas that guests can use. There is a small self-service bar with beverages in the basement. In the barn, we have seating, board games, a retro arcade machine (not just for kids), beach chairs, a grill, and a goulash kettle. These areas are also shared with other guests of the cottage. Parking is available directly at the cottage. Palčovka is the perfect spot for guests who are looking for tranquility, nature, and the authentic atmosphere of an old mountain cottage, but who also want to have the basic comforts for a pleasant stay. The surrounding area offers wonderful opportunities for hiking, cycling, and winter sports. Guest access During their stay, guests have the entire U Ondry apartment at their disposal, which is intended solely for their private use. The stay also includes the option to use the common areas of Palčovka, which are shared with guests from the other apartments. These include, in particular, a barn with seating, board games, a retro arcade machine for children and adults, beach chairs, a grill, and a goulash kettle. These spaces are perfect for relaxing, spending time together, or having a barbecue in the evening. Guests can also enjoy the basement bar, where both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. During the summer months, the outdoor terrace is also a pleasant place to relax, where you can sit, have a coffee, or enjoy the peace and atmosphere of a mountain chalet. If you borrow anything – for example, games, dishes, lounge chairs, or barbecue equipment – we would appreciate it if you could return it clean and put it back in its place.
