The Crown

Originally a 16th-century coaching inn, The Crown in Old Amersham offers dining, traditional hospitality and easy access to the M40, M25, M1 and M4. Free parking and Wi-Fi is available on-site. The Crown has a mixture of traditional and modern bedrooms, including the four-poster suite that featured in the film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. The AA rosettes awarded, Hawkyns Restaurant offers a fine-dining experience. Guests can also unwind with a drink in the lounge and bar area. The Crown Courtyard Suites-these luxury large rooms have been designed to not only compliment the hotels history but also provide the perfect luxury stay, with comfortable super king sized double beds, (some of which are four poster) and each room maticulously designed by Ilse Crawford. Featuring a bath in the room and a bathroom with a rainforest shower the rooms lead directly on to the cobbled courtyard. Please note, extra beds are an additional cost of GBP 20 per child per night.
