Romantic Hudson Valley cottage just 1 hour outside NYC in northern Westchester! Beautiful, wooded location along the Peekskill Hollow Creek - just off the beaten path. You’ll be surrounded by nature and still be a hop, skip and jump away from restaurants, shopping, hiking/bike trails, West Point, the Hollow Brook Golf Club and historic sites (Revolutionary War, Rockefeller, Roosevelt, Underground Railroad). Quick access (by car or train) to/from NYC and greater Hudson Valley. High speed WiFi. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. Feel free to use the kitchen. Coffee (Nespresso machine) and tea are provided. Cookware, dinnerware, glassware and cutlery are located in the cabinets and drawers. Bath towels/soaps, kitchen towels/soaps and linens are provided. Guests may also use the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and outdoor grill. Guests may access the outdoor areas immediately surrounding the house. Wading and swimming in the brook are at guests’ own risk. We are always reachable by telephone/text and email. The cottage is located in a wooded, secluded area along the Peekskill Hollow Creek. It's surrounded by nature, but close to restaurants and antique shops, as well as West Point and historic Revolutionary War and Underground Railroad sites. A car (with 4 wheel drive during winter months) is best. But the Peekskill (Metro North) train station is less than 4 miles away. Taxi and livery services are also available. Perfect spot for nature lovers, bird watchers, writers or others in search of a serene getaway. You may even spot a bald eagle - if you’re lucky!
