We know the area: 10-min to gold mining town of Mariposa, 15-min to Wild and Scenic Merced River, and 1-hour to Yosemite Valley. Discount on 3+ night stay. The space Country Property The cabin sits on the highest point with surrounding mountain views including Yosemite and a starry night sky that is rare to witness in California. Wildlife seen on the property include hummingbirds, deer, quail, turkeys, rabbits, songbirds and hawks. The Cabin: Your family will enjoy this spacious home on one level (2000 sq. ft./185 sq. m.). We remodeled this cabin while working as park rangers in Yosemite. You will stay comfortable with the heating and cooling system and a ceiling fan in every room. The fireplace is available for use November-March. Entertainment Options: country Wi-Fi (download 12Mbps, upload 2 Mbps), 40-inch HDTV with a soundbar, Blu-ray player with internet access to personal services such as Netflix, HuluPlus, Amazon Prime Video, Pandora, You Tube, etc. There is also Chromecast to stream entertainment from your smartphone or tablet. House Book and Guest Log: There is a binder at the cabin with instructions for features. There is also a Guest Log with comments from previous guests. Babies and Young Children: We do not provide equipment such as a highchair, crib, playpen, or bedrails. Guest access The cabin is rented to one party at a time. There is a combination lock at the driveway gate and a lock box next to the front door where you can retrieve the cabin key. Codes are provided a week before you arrive. The driveway privacy gate is a sturdy metal with a wheel that you push open. Other things to note - Mariposa County Transient Occupancy Certified since 2015. - If you are flexible and your initial dates to visit Yosemite and Mariposa are not available to book our cabin, send us an inquiry. - The cabin is also rented as a 1-bedroom cabin for 2 people at a lower rate on a separate listing. - Level 2 EV charger upon request.
