The living room is large and comfy. Look outside the south facing bedroom window and scan the horse paddocks for a few of our equine residents. Enjoy your breakfast in the eat in kitchen, or sit at the porch dining table and bask in the scent of Hydrangeas. Guest access We are located and are part of the historic village of Palmyra. Palmyra is just outside Charlottesville and close to Ricmond too. When staying at the the cottage, enjoy a tour of historic Palmyra, Montpelier, Monticello, Ash-lawn Highland, games and graduation at UVA, local wineries and breweries, fairs and festivals, horse shows and races, shopping at Short Pump, The Rivanna and James Rivers for canoeing, rafting and fishing,The Civil War Museum in Gordonsville and many other historic sites.
