Almond Tree Cottage, once a farm building built in the 19th century, lies in the grounds of Trethin Manor, one of the oldest houses in Cornwall. Guests enjoy the well equipped property, the log burner, peaceful surroundings, the games field, and onsite games room. The cottage is ideally located for exploring Bodmin Moor, the Atlantic coast, Cornish villages and famous visitor attractions like Port Isaac, the Eden Project and Tintagel. It sleeps up to four plus a baby in a travel cot. The space The cottage has step free access and is all on one level. Enter the cottage into the comfortable lounge and well appointed kitchen area. The bathroom has a wc, wash basin. bath and shower with heated towel rail and additional heater. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room is heated by an electric heater. The plugs nearest the bed include USB-A sockets. The smaller bedroom has two single beds. It has an electric heater, a wardrobe, one bedside cabinet and a chest of drawers. The hall has an electric heater. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the whole property. Outside, there is a picnic bench to the rear of the property which benefits from the early morning sun. A table with four chairs can be found on the lawn next to the front door and a bench situated to look over the lovely grounds is below the lounge window. Guests have free use of the on site games room that includes a table tennis table, a pool table and table football. The large games field is ideal for ball games and has a built BBQ. Finally, there is a laundry room on site with coin operated washing and drying machines. Guests are welcome to use the rotary dryers nearby.
