The view from the west bedroom is truly panoramic. Windows wrap around the elevated space overlooking the coast, beaches and rainforest gardens. The room is naturally ventilated with insect screened windows. You may need a light cover at night because of our elevation (200m above sea level). We have a fan if you need it. The space A very large bedroom with a king size double bed, en-suite bathroom and private terrace. A very private Residence set in 1.2Ha (3 acres) of tropical gardens. Awake to the sounds of monkeys and bird song. Walk in the terraced gardens where exotic orchids and tropical plants surround the rainwater swimming pool. The mountain top location overlooks Padang's top surf beach. Air Manis Beach is ideal for learners or for a warm up surf before heading out to the world famous Mentawai Islands. Air Manis Hill Residence offers an in-house chef, Ibu Is, trained in authentic Padang dishes and Western meals. Breakfast is included and a personalized menu is available. Meals can be delivered to your terrace. The local fishermen supply us with a range of seafood direct from the boats and we buy mountain fresh vegetables grown in rich volcanic soil.
