Welcome to our Emerald Abode, located 2 blocks north of Old North Knoxville, in Oakwood-Lincoln Park. Our home is walking/biking distance to coffee shops, eateries, breweries and antique shops in eclectic Happy Holler. Find your getaway in our basement guest suite furnished with a king bed, sleeper couch, full bathroom and a kitchenette while being just 2 miles from downtown, 3 miles to The University of Tennessee and 40 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The space Keep in mind this is a basement suite and not a whole house rental. ***We reside upstairs so you may hear us walking around. We definitely try to be as light on our feet at night and early in the morning.*** Attention FOOTBALL fans!!! If you are traveling to Knoxville for a game at Neyland stadium, our abode is less than 4 miles from the stadium and we will provide you with backroad directions to avoid the game day traffic. We can get to our tailgate spot in 7 minutes!!! There is a mini freezer/fridge combo, a microwave, Keurig, electric tea kettle, and mini electric griddles for your convenience. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. The suite is connected to the main house central heat and air, so feel free to contact us for temperature adjustment. Please note that we have polished concrete floors in the basement suite. While the photos do not indicate it, we do have natural woven wood shades to draw over the windows to provide privacy and block out light. Guest access The basement guest suite is fitted with 2 large windows overlooking the vegetable garden where you have full access to harvest when in season. There is free off-street parking right outside of the private entrance to the suite. You can also use street parking in front of the house. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea on our front porch. Other things to note While we have 2 dogs of our own we request that you leave yours at home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please ask us if you need a different check in/out time and we will accommodate as best we can.
