Home in St. Augustine

The direct view of a gorgeous live oak canopy on Magnoila Avenue and incredible architecture make this historic home a memorable place to stay. This romantic ground floor suite is perfect for couples with a private entrance, queen poster bed, living room,  spacious bathroom, individual climate control, heirloom antiques and reserved driveway parking spot. The home is located within the historic district, close to trolley stops and within easy walking distance to downtown. 6 minutes to the beach. The space I hope you make happy memories here like I have. Sitting on the porch at sunset is beautiful. The tunnel of live oak trees is incredible at any time of day but especially when the light starts changing. I have a local guide I wrote available at the rental as well as local magazines. I have a large collection of antique roses and I am working to restore the gardens. I am growing many roses in pots. Feel free to pick the roses, many of them smell wonderful since they are the heirloom varieites. Feel free to reach out with any questions about my home or the Airbnb process. No Pets (service animals included). I have allergies and can not handle cleaning up after animals, sadly pet dander will make me sick. This is Florida and there are bugs. I grow host plants for butterflies so I am careful when treating the bad bugs. I maintain best practices for their control but a certain times of year mosquitos and palmetto bugs are active. Wearing repellant should keep you safe throughout the historic district. The home is an old and historic property so there are certain quirks and imperfections that are part of the charm on an old house. I aim to be a good steward to this home so your help with treating it kindly and respectfully is very appreciated. No parties or loud music.
