Located on the ski-side in West Vail, just 1.5 miles from Lionshead & 2 miles from Vail Village, this home backs up to National Forest on quiet culdesaq, away from the Vail's highway noise. Hike out our back door to the top of the gondola! Large enough for larger groups, but cozy enough for a family! Cozy enough for a small group, or large enough for a large group to spread out. Two separate master suites makes it ideal for a couple families traveling together. Additionally, 2 bunk rooms (sleeping 4 and 5) have a jack-and-jill bathroom (shared bath-tub) between. A final queen bedroom has a half bath across the hall. A separate media room downstairs is perfect for movies or games, and the open den with tall ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace creates the perfect gathering spot. Sit on the deck and enjoy coffee as sun rises, or relax in the private hot tub after a day of mountain activities. Guests can access the entire property, including hot tub, grill, deck. I am just a phone call away. I do have local maintenance in town if needed. Our place is in West Vail, 1/2 mile above Donovan Park on the ski-side (south) of I 70. It’s a lovely residential neighborhood with great access to hiking and biking in the summer, and snow shoeing in the winter. Home is on a quiet cul-de-saq removed from the pesky highway noise that plagues so much of Vail. Driveway is heated in the winter for easy access. We are 1/2 mile from the free town bus/shuttle. You can either choose to make the short 1.5-2 mile drive into Lionshead or Vail Village, or park at Donovan Park and take the free bus. We are 1/2 mike from the free Vail bus/shuttle. To get to the slopes you can park at Donovan park (1/2 mile away) and take bus, or park in Lionshead (1.5 miles away) garage or Vail-Village garage (2 miles) or valet park at Golden Peak.
