Garden level basement of our family home-1400+ sq foot apt with private front entrance, kitchenette, one large bedroom, bathroom, living room, all to yourself at the base of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorful Colorado! Walk to Cheyenne Mtn. Country Club, drive or bike 5 minutes to the BroadmoorResort. Close to shops, I25 access, trails, movies, and parks,as well as Ft Carson. Straight shot to downtown Colorado Springs and quick access to Old Colorado City and up to Manitou Springs, Woodland Park. The space While the landscaping of our home is still needing some TLC, the inside is cool, clean, updated and comfortable. The 1400+ square foot basement apartment is all yours! The basics are provided for cooking simple meals (leave a roast n potatoes in the crockpot for dinner). Bedding provided as well as towels. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, and a twin. Guest could sleep on the couch and there are two twin mattresses in the under stairs closet. A TV is provided - live TV with over 40 channels. Games in the cabinet, gameboard on the wall! Being a basement apartment, it tends to stay a little CHILLY, be prepared. Open windows, close vents in ceiling. Space heaters provided, **As stated, we do live upstairs and I'm sure you will hear our family and dogs overhead at times. Fan in bedroom closet can be used for 'white noise'. *Please monitor your use of downloads, netflix, youtube, etc... To note: I always leave positive reviews of my guests, unless something egregious, please do us the consideration of leaving positive public reviews and privately addressing ways we could improve. We really appreciate it. Guest access Guests may enjoy the patio area at the private entrance as well as any yard games. Enjoy local brews or a glass of wine on the patio. (Two locked storage closets that are off limits.) Please let your children play and have fun. We rarely hear the children, so don't worry or stress about noise, we enjoy laughter (tears are ok, too) and we want you to be comfortable. **WiFi Other things to note Please use the parking space to the right of the garage. You are welcome to have guests, plenty of parking along the street. Walk to the park down the street to play or picnic. *Please respect the neighbors and honor quiet hours starting at 10pm.* --
