Down by the Sea Oak Island House

Our 2nd home 1 mile from the beach on quiet west end with big yard, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Queen master, twin bunk bedroom, and twin over full bunk bedroom. Please ask any questions. Nicely furnished, complete kitchen. What's to love about OKI: 10 miles of uncrowded beach, 60 public access points, fishing piers, marinas, public boat ramps. Parks and putt putt, small town feel. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Dogs allowed: 1-$80 fee, 2- $100. The space Down by the Sea is our home away from home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making it a space that is welcoming and comfortable. The living space has an open floor plan with stocked kitchen, dining, and living area. Relax on the front porch with coffee. Nice plank tile flooring make clean up easy. The living room has a TV and complimentary Wifi and a selection of movies and board games. The house does not have cable but all TVs have Firesticks or Rokus for you to access Hulu, Amazon Prime and any other streaming services you may have. The kitchen is packed full of dishes, cookware, small appliances and other essentials. There is a separate laundry room. A spacious Master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has twin bunk beds, and the third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. All beds have linens. Please note, our home comfortably accommodates up to six people (including children). Also, beach towels are not provided – please refrain from taking bathing towels to the beach. The real star of the island is the beach itself. It's a short distance by car with over 60 public beach access points. No matter the time of the year, your time spent at the beach will be memorable. We welcome you to our home and hope you love the slow pace of OKI as much as we do. We believe that "Y'all means ALL," and are intentionally inclusive in welcoming guests without regard to race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, or political affiliation. Guest access All bedrooms and bathrooms and living spaces. The entire house is open to use, there is a locked closet in hall. Large yard with on site parking. Other things to note We do have 2 dogs when we visit, not suitable for someone highly allergic to dogs. At least one occupant must be 25 years old. If you would like to bring your well behaved dog, please message me BEFORE making the booking. Up to two dogs are permitted only with prior approval; 1-$80, 2 -$100. nonrefundable pet deposit. The pet fee will be requested through AirBnB and will simply be added to the total. Guest agrees to pay for any and all damages/extra cleaning services. We do not allow third party reservations meaning the person making the reservation must be a guest. The home is equipped with a Ring Doorbell. There are NO other recording devices onsite. No more than 6 people allowed at the house. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house. If it is found that smoking took place, or there is a residual odor of tobacco there will be a $250.00 charge for odor remediation.
