The Ghost Lodge is an ideal weekend getaway, perfect for couples, families and larger groups, Motorcycles , bikes. Sauna, 2 hot tubs, pool table, 2 lounges, large bbq. You can have exclusive use of the whole lodge or book one room for your stay. This is a private & peaceful getaway, sleeps 2- 14 people Entire lodge booking is for up to 10 people $950- with an additional cost of $50 per person per night, standard rooms are available at $147 per night for up to 2 people. The space You can book the entire Lodge or a Room. Right on the beach, 5 bedrooms- sleeps 14 people, 2 lounges, pool table,, sauna, 2 hot tubs, large Bbq. The Ghost Lodge is a new build keeping half the front wall that was part of the original butcher shop in the 1880’s the rest of the building was built from salvaged timber from the stoke mental asylum in Nelson with the help of some very clever friends, its a new build, cosy and warm with character Large log fire providing heat upstairs and downstairs. It's perfect for large groups, families, motorcycles, bikes or individuals. NOTES: Please check out my other listings for alternative rooming options. During peak season I prefer group/family bookings for the entire lodge; however, please contact me if you would like to book a single room as this may still be available, and I'm happy to accommodate if I can. Off street parking available, beach access at the end of the garden, free use of wetsuits, boogie boards and surf boards during your stay. Downstairs fully equipped galley kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and coffee grinder coffee maker, blender, jug+ toaster of course . The dining area is off the kitchen and leads into a large living room with log fire, Freeview TV, stereo and DVD player. Two sets of french doors lead to an outside deck where you can relax after a long day of adventuring or walk to the beach to watch spectacular West Coast sunsets. Also downstairs are four double bedrooms, all with quality super-comfort queen size beds. 4 toilets 3 bathrooms 1 has double basins, ensuite in the green room . Upstairs is another large living room with a pool table, Freeview TV, stereo and DVD player. French doors lead to a sunny deck with sea views and a spa pool to luxuriate in under the stars. With plenty of afternoon sun this is a popular place to relax and watch the ever changing ocean and magnificent sunsets. There are two very large bedrooms with quality super-comfort queen size beds. Rooms are meticulously presented with superior quality beds and 500+1000 thread Egyptian cotton linen for your maximum comfort. Hand soap and towels are provided in all bathrooms. All rooms can be locked for your privacy. Guest access All guests can access kitchen, dining room, both lounges 3 decks-basically everywhere except other private rooms. Other things to note The beach is accessed via a short walk through the garden. There is mobile coverage and WIFI. Please leave the lodge clean and tidy upon your departure, otherwise an additional cleaning charge will be deducted from your security deposit.
