The entire cabin is open to our guests. You will access the cabin with a code. The owner does not generally interact with the guest so they have maximum privacy. Your 1 mile from the legendary WildFlower Cafe and the new favorite- Elevation Bistro, 5 minutes from Desoto Falls, 5 minutes from Cloudland Ski Resort and Golf, and just a few feet from magnificent views. You will likely see deer grazing in the morning and afternoon on the drive down the Parkway. You will need transportation. Mentone offers terrific hiking, a golf course, canoeing, kayaking, zip-lines, picnics, horseback riding, day trips to Fort Payne, Chattanooga, Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro. There are tremendous antique malls, thrift stores, and flea markets if you like to shop. You may want to picnic and watch the sunset at Brow Park or Little River Canyon. If you are a country music fan, check out the Alabama Fan Club and Museum of the top selling country band of all time in Fort Payne. If you wish to bring a pet, we will allow dogs up to approximately 25 pounds. we cannot accept big dogs because they scratch the pine floors. No heavy shedders like labs, retrievers, or huskies.
