Use this space as a home base to discover Chicago, visit your family at college or snuggle up with a loved one for a quiet posh staycation. Use of the private carport and private entrance provide a stress free stay. The Hamilton House is a private condo on the garden level of our home. The condo offers a full kitchen with an Oven/Range, sink, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. With 2 private bedrooms with a queen bed in each and an inflatable mattress (upon request) in the living room, the space can sleep 6. The condo is rounded out with a full bathroom, a dining area, living room and parking. A breakfast bar doubles as a large work space. The Hamilton House also offers an outdoor carport parking space included in the nightly price. Only Sedans and Small SUVs. The space CANNOT accommodate a truck, large SUV or Van. Our home is an ideal location to stay, if you are planning your trip around a Northwestern University or Loyola University visit. We are 15 min from both campuses, with access to non-Chicago essential shopping (Target, Grocery, Mall, etc.). The Hamilton House is a short 10 blk walk to the Redline train which takes you through many cool Chicago neighborhoods all the way downtown. We’re also close to Lakeshore Drive and 13 min from i94. If you have more then one vehicle or a larger vehicle, street parking is available without permits, but can be challenging in the evening and weekend hours. Guests can access the unit from the back carport. If guests do not have a car, the carport entrance doubles as a private entrance just off the alley. We live on the 2nd - 4th floor of the property with our two dogs. We are both artists; some days we will be rehearsing or creating something in our home. Please let us know if our activities are disturbing to your plans and/or needs. The property sits in a quiet nook of West Ridge and the surrounding streets are a mix of family homes and apartment buildings. The Red Line train is a 10-block walk away, traveling through many cool Chicago neighborhoods all the way downtown. We are a 15 min walk to the Red Line EL.
