Love Nest-1000 Acres & Hiking Near Pinnacles Park

Just 10 minutes to Pinnacles, Love Nest is private and charming; perfect for 1-2 guests. The 'log cabin' exterior is fitting and interior reminiscent of “Gone with the Wind” era. Included; queen bed, tapestry love seat, 'faux fireplace' heater, A/C, DVD player, refrigerator, microwave, electric tea kettle, coffee/teas, quality bed linens, towels, essentials (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, soap, toilet paper etc) with a small closet for belongings. Bathroom is private w/toilet, sink and shower. The space Important - we have a variety of animals here on the ranch and strive to make their quality of life healthy, happy and comfortable. Our Love Nest is in close proximity to our peafowl aviary, which holds about 25 birds and our "Doggie Chateau", which houses our beloved dogs Bingo and Scarlet. Altho rare in occurrence, the birds and/or dogs may become boisterous, as they will alert when a predator (bobcat, coyote, etc) is on the property. Also, the birds are vocal during mating season, typically May-July. Since the Love Nest is close to both pens, we want guests to be aware of the animals (and potential noise) nearby. We provide ear plugs in case of an exceptionally noisy evening. We are open seasonally April-October. Love Nest sleeps 1-2 people with a private bathroom. There is a queen sized bed, charming tapestry loveseat and small refrigerator/microwave and TV/DVD combo. Wide selection of DVDs available in our Game Room - feel free to select a few for viewing in the privacy of your cottage. Many ranch amenities including wifi available at our Game Room, tennis, game room, basketball, ping pong and visiting our ranch animals. Take a hike to the top of our hill with beautiful vistas along the way, capped off by the view of the entire ranch as you reach the top. There is a deck with comfortable furniture as you sit and take it all in, experiencing the quiet sounds of nature. Visit Pinnacles National Park only 10 miles down the scenic, country road. Guest access Important: WiFi is available 24/7 in our Game Room (currently not available inside Love Nest). Guests will have access to our tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, barbecue pit; game room has a pool table/air hockey/foosball and hiking trails in the hills. There's a great walking/running loop around the flat part of the property with beautiful views. We have a Farm Stand on site, featuring our award winning olive oil and other ranch related products. Stop by and say "Hello" to Shelley. Other things to note Important - Verizon and AT&T are currently the only cell service that works here at the ranch. Please let us know if you do not have Verizon or AT&T and we will make arrangements to give you access to a landline so that you can make and receive calls. It's also important to note that we are located 20 miles from the nearest full service grocery store. We suggest that you purchase your groceries prior to arriving; Hollister has several grocery stores if you are passing through. The nearest eateries are 15 miles from us in Tres Pinos - there's a popular steakhouse called The 19th Hole, Tres Pinos Inn (an upscale restaurant) and Flapjacks, a good breakfast/lunch spot (limited hours - open 7:00 AM-2:00 PM; call to confirm). Nearest gasoline is also in Tres Pinos (15 miles from ranch).
