Private guest suite nestled on the White Salmon River. This rustic 450-square-foot suite includes a queen sized bed, couch, table and chairs. Situated on ten acres of wild and rewilded vegetation, the suite enjoys mountain views and access to the river. Once a museum built to house primitive tools, it has been renovated into a cozy space which integrates original rustic building materials with new amenities and a private bathroom. The space Includes: Kitchenette includes a small refrigerator with mini freezer, microwave, electric tea kettle, toaster, coffee maker, french press, basic dishes and silverware, wine glasses and opener, knives and cutting board, a selection of coffees and teas. Full private bathroom has a stand up shower, bath linens, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and hairdryer. *Please note that the cast-iron tub basin pictured in the bathroom photo is part of the suite's 100-year history and is not a functioning tub. The suite offers full heating and A/C with a ductless temperature controlled system, and thermostat-sensitive wall heaters in the main room and bathroom. Individual HEPA air-filtration unit maintains clean airflow. The suite contains a well-loved, functioning antique wood stove that is stocked with firewood and kindling during the winter season. Guest access Enjoy the surrounding acres and access the White Salmon River. The suite is joined to our main home on one side but has a private entrance, small front porch, and a dedicated parking area.
