Situated around the corner from Christmas Story House in the south end of trendy Tremont neighborhood. Come for a visit! To get your day started right, apartment will be stocked with ground coffee and a selection of teas. Huge stately trees create an oasis of shade, helping to cut down the city noises and keeping out the summer heat. Garden chairs and picnic table available for your use in the backyard. Plenty of street parking but off street parking is also available through special entrance from another road behind the house. You will have the apartment all to yourself. Additionally, you would be welcome to relax in the tranquil backyard under stately trees. There are garden chairs and a picnic table there you can use. Keypad for self check in, but I am here to help. I am a self employed artist and I live and work primarily on site. I am in the upstairs apartment and have my artist's studio in the shop building behind the house. In the summer you may also find me out tending my gardens, or with the studio door propped open catching some fresh air. I am around a lot and would be happy to help in however way I can to get yourself settled in and acquainted with what Cleveland and the neighborhood has to offer you . So just ask. Tremont is one of Cleveland’s oldest neighborhoods with a rich history dating back to the early 1800s. Today the neighborhood is known for its award-winning restaurants, lively art scene, boutique shops, scenic churches, and fun-filled events that bring the community together and attract visitors from around the region and across the country. The apartment is an easy walk to Christmas Story House, where you will also find our fabulous gastropub, The Rowley Inn, open for breakfast through dinner. Terrapin Coffee, with on site pastry chef, is a great place for some caffeine and a treat. Close to downtown attractions and Ohio City and just up the street from the Towpath Trail for a walk, jog or hike to downtown or the Tremont business district. Also just down the hill in the other direction is a shopping mall, Steelyard Commons where you can find whatever you forgot to bring. Public transportation bus #81 stop is a block away and will take you to Ohio City and the public light rail line at W.25th. The redline can take you downtown or to University Circle area museums and institutions. Lift and Uber trips to downtown generally about $8 each way. This is a non-smoking household. No smoking is allowed indoors. I'll appreciate guests picking up and cleaning up after themselves inside apartment and around the property. That includes picking up trash, clean up soiled surfaces, and wash soiled dishes. Cleaning supplies are available under the sinks and in bathroom closet.
