Les Hirondelles, charming house with garden

3 bed holiday cottage (gite) in Lyons-la-Forêt one of the most beautiful villages in France from the roman period and surrounded by France's largest beech forest. 16th century charming house, timber beams throughout sleeps up to 5 adults and 1 baby. Farmhouse style kitchen & cozy living room have wood burning stoves. Smart TV. Upstairs are 2 double, 1 single bedrooms and a shower room. Child cot/child gates can be fitted at the top of the stairs. Price includes free continental breakfast. The space The house has a farmhouse style kitchen and a living room. Both rooms have wood burning stoves. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer (stocked with complementary refreshments) and microwave. There is kitchenware and appliances suitable for a self-catering holiday. The living room has a large sofa and smart television with French digital channels. The TV has USB and HDMI ports so you can plug in your own laptop if you wish. There is also a DVD player with a selection of French and English DVDs to borrow including films shot in our village. Access to the private enclosed garden is via the kitchen. The staircase from the kitchen leads to the three bedrooms and shower room. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed 190 x 200 fitted wardrobes and dressing table. There are two further bedrooms which are arranged 1 with a queen bed which converts to a single if you require more space and the 3rd bedroom has a single bed, fitted wardrobes and drawers. Further child beds and cots can be provided free with notice. We can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2+ children depending on ages. There is a child cot available and child gates can be fitted at the top of the stairs with prior notice. Before entering the shower room, there is a chill out area which has a hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries. Continental breakfasts with freshly baked bread and pastries from our reputable local bakery are delivered to the kitchen daily. PETS ARE WELCOME EXCEPT FOR CATS. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Street parking outside the gite is free and available for 1 car. There are further free spaces nearby in the church carpark. Guest access As guests you have access to the whole property and garden and small to medium size dogs are welcome at a fee of €15 per visit.
