Authentic 3rd generation Canadian cottage (540sqft) just 90 mins north of Toronto. Wood stove, small quiet lake (access 2 min walk) large private lot. Firepit & kayaks and hot tub. Walk to 9, 27 & mini golf courses & a great licensed restaurant (live entertainment). Close to Washago, Orillia & Casino. Pet friendly! Easy access to hwy; you will hear some hwy. noise. Free Muskoka Mosquitoes. 1-2pm check-in. Bring sheets, towels, firewood & drinking water. The space This is a traditional, 3rd generation family cottage (not a guesthouse). It is private and for your use only. We live approximately 30 minutes away and are available if you need us. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW - Eco-friendly, compost toilet (not a flush toilet). - Cottage is small (540 sq.ft.) - You will hear highway noise. Varies at time of day/year. - Cottage is not waterfront. We have lake access a few minutes away - There is no sink in the bathroom, only a small shower and compost toilet. - Mosquitoes and other insects may be active as we are in cottage country, not the city. Bring spray and citronella candles. GOLF Lake St. George Golf Club, Sparrow Lake Road, Washago (27 holes) as well as the Evergreen, 3372 Agnew, Severn which is a par 3, 9 hole course). They also have a mini course there. Both courses are a few minutes walk away. Cottage has easy access to highway 11. A golf course buffers the area between us and the highway but highway sounds are audible. There are so many events/activities to enjoy in the area. Other things to note Please bring your own sheets, towels, firewood and drinking water. If you are arriving via air, please let us know and we can discuss. We provide blankets and pillows. Awesome private bonfire pit with ample seating! Air conditioning for those muggy, hot nights! Kitchen has full sized fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, hand-held kitchen aid mixer, pots and pans, pizza stone, wine glasses, dishes and silverware. Large screen tv with over 100 dvd`s to choose from. Board games and books available. Bathroom is tiny but functional - shower and eco-friendly compost toilet. Portable Webers bbq.
