Charming and Spacious Victorian House & Garden

This charming house is cozy with lots of space to unwind over two floors. It's in a well located, vibrant, but quiet neighbourhood. It's close to downtown and parks and in a very transit-friendly area. Enjoy the covered front patio and luscious back garden. Great for all travelers including families with kids (we have a 2 year old). I'm an architect, so my house has a particular sensibility that highlights the house's original character, and builds on it with modern interventions. The space Your space would be private, no interaction with myself or tenants. My house is divided into two units. The tenants upstairs do not have access to your unit. The space has one bedroom. Additional guests could sleep on the couch or on the blow up mattress. The unit consists of a main floor with living room, and a large kitchen. In the bright basement you'll find the bed, washroom and laundry. The space is ideal for a family as the bed is not closed off into a separate room. It is loft-style. A sheet could be installed if privacy is desired. The living room (with the couch) can be closed off from the kitchen with a door. The ceiling height in the basement is just over 6'. My husband is 6'3" and is not uncomfortable walking in the basement - it's mainly for sleeping or lounging. :) Guest access The unit in the house is entirely private. You'll have access to the main floor and basement. This includes the living room and kitchen on the main floor, and Queen bed, bathroom and laundry in the basement. Other things to note TRANSIT / BIKE The house is well situated. I personally don't own a car and get around by bike or transit. It's a 12 minute bike ride to downtown, Yonge Street. Otherwise, the house steps from 3 streetcar lines: 504 King which runs to Broadview subway station 505 Dundas which runs to Broadview subway station 506 College which runs along Gerrard PARKING Free parking is available on First Ave or other side streets from 10am to midnight. Outside of that time you can park your car on Broadview which is free in the evenings and free all day Sunday. There is a gap between 8am and 10am when you have to feed the meter on Broadview. When you park on Broadview, be sure to look at the hours where parking is restricted. No parking on the southbound side of the street during AM rush hour.
