This is a lovely, cape cod style home on 5 acres located near a great golf course, Cooks Forest and Clear Creek State Park and the Allegheny National Forest. Only 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh and 2 hours from Ohio border. Outside deck leads to 16’x32’ in-ground pool, charcoal grill and fire pit. It is our beloved summer home so you will find it thoughtfully decorated. However, because it is our home we ask our guest to understand that closets and drawers are off limits. The space **A Peaceful Retreat in Nature!** Come relax and unwind at our serene getaway! Enjoy stunning views from the deck, incredible stargazing, and nightly deer sightings. The property is surrounded by a beautiful 200-acre working Amish farm, offering a true rural experience. Please note: With the peaceful setting comes some typical country insects—we provide tiki torches and insect spray to help keep them at bay. If you need to stay connected, we do have WiFi—though many guests come here to disconnect and enjoy the quiet. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the many nearby hiking trails and canoeing spots in Cook Forest. We're just 20 minutes from Clarion University, 3 miles from Clear Creek State Park, and 10 minutes from Pinecrest Country Club, a public golf course. Guest access Guest have access to entire house. Washer and dryer on-site. Other things to note The property is 5 acres on a larger (200 acre) working farm. The farm, at harvest times, creates a good deal organic matter dust. It operates on a well. Therefore, it is not advisable to run multiple water-using appliances simultaneously. This property is our summer home so, while it is fully appointed and thoughtfully decorated, guests will not have access to closets or dresser drawers. We also do not allow parties or party decor. You are most welcome to bring your pool toys or games.
