Come relax on our quiet street just a block from the Univ. of WI--Milwaukee. Leave your car at our home and walk to campus! In just a few minutes you can drive to the Lakefront, downtown, or Miller Park. Our home has two full bedrooms with closets, a bunkroom, full kitchen, dining room, and large living room w/electric fireplace. Your hosts live in the condo upstairs if you need assistance or recommendations, but with self check-in you can have just the amount of contact you would like. Enjoy your stay at Frederick House! Located in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood, Frederick House provides 1500 square feet of living space, a private washer and dryer for our guests, and one outside parking space. Enjoy the sunroom bathed in sunlight, or warm your toes at the electric fireplace. Our location is residential, but within easy access of all that Milwaukee has to offer. We have a no visitor policy for during your stay, so only guests that are part of the reservation are allowed on the property. Guests do not have access to the back yard as it is a family space. We appreciate you respecting our privacy. We live upstairs and so are close at hand if you need assistance or recommendations. If we are not home, we are always available by phone. Before you end your stay, we simply ask that you please gather used towels in the bathtub, run the dishwasher, and take out the kitchen trash. The quiet, one-way block we live on is only steps away from UWM and several bus lines. Park in back of our home if you have brought your car. The East Side is the place to be! A short 10 minute drive brings you downtown to nightlife, the theaters, Fiserv Forum and to the Summerfest grounds. Add only five more minutes and you are at Miller Park, or take a neighborhood bar shuttle to the game! Riverwest, the lower East Side, and the Lakefront are all five minutes away. One block from UW-Milwaukee, we have access to great transportation! Several bus lines originate from campus, as well as a Bublr Bike Station. You can always locate a Spin, Lime, or Bird scooter, so download the apps before you come! Additional parking on the street is safe. Please know that there is a short set of stairs to the interior door. There is a handrail. We also have a camera outside of the flat monitoring the door for the safety of the home. We have two cats upstairs that guests may hear chasing each other! The cats are never allowed in any area that the guests enjoy.
