This cozy cabin is located in the middle of an apple orchard and only 5 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Spring and Summer is an artists paradise and during the winter months perfect for those who want to Ski, hike, and relax. The home was originally my grandfather and grandmothers country home where my grandfather planted all the fruit trees and my grandmother canned the harvest. A very special place with very special memories. The orchard is an active orchard where we grow a variety of apples, pears, plums, grapes and peaches. The guest have private access to the whole home. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains is incredible. It is always a good idea to shop for groceries in the town of Taos prior to arriving in Valdez. There is a small organic grocery store in Arroyo Seco called Sol which is about 5 minutes from the house if you run out of some basics.
