Little House by the water

New Sealy queen size mattress, well equipped kitchen, Cuisinart coffee maker, full oven, glass topped stove, new refrigerator, and fully screened porch with water view. Perfect for 1 or 2 adults looking to get off the grid and recharge. In St. Mary's County,MD, just 90 minutes south of Washington DC. However, the space is small and it is really a studio apartment as I think the pictures make evident. Guest access Your own kitchen, your own screened porch, our dock, bird watching (eagles, hawks, osprey, martins, blue birds), deer, rabbits, occasional foxes, wild turkeys and if your are fortunate, peacocks. St. Mary's City is 40 minutes away and there are numerous restaurants accessible within 20 minutes and even though we are out in the hinterland, there are 2 local bars where live bands play on a regular basis within a 10-15 minute drive. Other things to note This is a warm and cozy space, just perfect for relaxing. There is a bookcase full of books on a variety of subjects, from escape reading to serious philosophical essays, and the water is on view 24/7. There is also a VHS player and more than 40 movies available. There is no cable or WiFi access but most phones work here. Reception for T-Mobile is not so good
