We are good at pre-stay communication and hope you are also. We are happy to answer any and all questions you have and will do so as quickly as possible. The space This rental space is suitable for either 1 or 2 people...and not more. This is a 1 bedroom apartment with its own entrance, attached to our home. The only room shared is a mudroom that we enter through, but there is a door that closes off this rental apt. from our home. We live on the level above the rental, and strive to be quiet neighbors, as we hope you are too. Our guest's reviews reflect that. The bedroom, which has windows to the south and west, has a queen size bed, and loads of storage space in cabinets and closet. The full private bathroom has been newly renovated as well as the fully equipped kitchen which is an adjacent room off of a downstairs hallway. There we provide our guests with a small dining table, a cushioned bench seat, a full refrigerator with freezer, toaster, electric water kettle, coffeepot, glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. The apt. hallway is accessed through what we call our sunroom, which faces south, and it provides your own entrance to the apt with a parking space outside. The sunroom/sitting room is yours to use as well. We won't be using it while you're here, but it is not completely private as it is open to the shared mudroom We live on a quiet road, away from heavy traffic. We nicknamed our property the "Skyranch" a long time ago, as we have wonderful views to the west, amazing sunsets, and a clear, dark, and starry night to enjoy. We are: 8.3 miles to Hannaford and Staples for groceries/pharmacy/ office supplies 3.0 miles to Pierce's General store 9.5 to Market 32/Price Chopper 8.0 miles to Rutland Regional Medical Center, health clinics, banks 4.5 miles to nearest gas station 8.5 miles to many other gas stations 9.5 miles to Walmart, TJ Maxx etc Guest access We live on the level above this rental space, so these 3 rooms of the apartment described are exclusively for your use. Your own entrance will be unlocked for easy check in at whatever hour works for you and we'll share the door code when you arrive. This unit is separate from our living quarters. Please note that there are 3 exterior steps into the apartment's private entrance / sunroom and then down 7 steps down to the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. There is a designated parking space right in front of the guest entrance. Other things to note We want to be sure to point out that there are some steps coming up and down into the sunroom, and down the steps to the hallway with the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen . It's hard to describe the layout of our house....lots of levels....but it is definitely NOT for folks who would struggle with stairs. Registration Details MRT-10126712
