Our home is close to the Hood Canal, Olympic National Forest and Park and 2 dozen state and county parks. You'll love our place because of the outdoors space. We have a clean and comfortable home with all the amenities you will need to make yourself at home. The space Enjoy the warmth of our wood stove any day of the year. Walk the paths wandering across our 5 acres. Make a meal in our well stocked kitchen, then enjoy it on the deck or on a blanket in the yard. Listen to the birds during the day and the frogs at night. It is the perfect place for star gazing and owl calling. We are a working farm growing fruits, vegetables, nuts, and flowers. We just erected our greenhouse (60l x 20w) and are working on amending soil. We will grow citrus and exotic fruit trees! We have a handful of gardens around the property that will be growing veggies. Please help yourself to fresh veggies, but leave some for us and future guests. Please note, gardens are only between April - September. The farm is beautiful because we take care of it everyday. We will need access to the outside area to water and maintain our garden and flower beds during the week. Of course we would work it around a time that works for you and your party. We recycle and compost. Please help us out and place your leftovers in the appropriate bin. Cannabis use outside only. Butts need to be disposed of safely in the trash. No throwing cannabis or cigarette butts on the ground! Our home and land is UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN: no pets, hardwood floors, freestanding wood stove, the pond, steep slopes and unimproved forest, occasional power tools and tractors, wild animals etc. Please use driving directions we provide, some GPS directions are extremely incorrect. Guest access Upstairs is the master bedroom and bathroom bathroom. The master has a 37” tv and a king size bed. The bedrooms on the first floor, one queen bed and 1 full bed, will share the one downstairs full bathroom. All bedrooms have full dresser space. Other things to note The main source of heat is from the wood stove. The wood stocked piled under the green shed is for the house, NOT outdoor campfires. Some wood is provided for a small pit fire outside, but when you run out of wood, you will have to go to the store to buy more wood. There is a big deck with seating and a BBQ. Guided backpacking/hiking trips, mushroom or berry forays and tree plantings are all things we can do here. No pets.
