Description

This riverfront cabin in Kernville has everything! The river with beach area is steps from the backyard, hiking, rafting, tubing, skiing, horseback riding, or just sit in the river with a beer and some friends! With sleeping space for 12, there’s ample room for groups and families. Recently remodeled with a gourmet kitchen, giant bathrooms, outdoor shower, patio set with propane fire pit, propane grill, and very comfy beds. Perfect weekend getaway from LA, San Diego or Orange County. The space This cabin has been lovingly remodeled and has exclusively been used by family previously. It is stocked like a family home with everything you need from spices, cookware, folding chairs, towels, etc... I am familiar with all the hikes and unique things to do in the area and am more than happy to answer any questions. This has been a magical place for our family and we want our guests to love it too! Guest access Linens, basic shower supplies, towels, washer/dryer and laundry soap. Beach/River that is steps from the backyard of the cabin, outdoor rain shower, WIFI, cable, grill, fire pit, lots of folding chairs, umbrellas, fully stocked kitchen with most condiments already there. The house has cable and Internet, but mountain service can be spotty. Please understand that sometimes the cable/internet goes out or has a weak signal. If you MUST at all times have internet or TV, the mountains probably aren't the best place for you. :) Other things to note Please note, a 7% Occupancy Tax will be collected as an additional charge after booking and must be paid in full prior to check in. This is a Kern County tax. The Pacific Crest Trail is right down the road. The Kern River Brewery is in town and has some amazing beer - try the Sequoia Red! My favorite hike, slide rock, is 20 minutes up the road. A short hike to a small falls over smooth rock that you can slide down. The Trail of 100 Giants is 30 minutes up the road. Alta Sierra, the local ski resort, is less than thirty minutes away and is very fun in the winter. The house has cable and Internet, but mountain service can be spotty. Please understand that sometimes the cable/internet goes out or has a weak signal.
