Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is a magical oasis nestled in the heart of the stunning Lowveld area of the Limpopo Province. Our location is simply unbeatable - just 6.2 mi North of Hoedspruit. Eastgate airport (Hoedspruit HDS) is a mere 16 mi from the Lodge, and only a short distance from the awe-inspiring “Panorama Route” along the majestic Drakensberg Escarpment. As part of the Balule Nature Reserve, we are proud to be incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park Management Area, ensuring that our guests can enjoy traversing on over 12,000 hectares of pristine wilderness. Our charming lodge offers six thatched rondawels, each one featuring a twin/king or queen bed and a private private bathroom. For families or larger groups, we have two Family room with interleading doors between the twin/king and queen rooms, each with their own facilities. All the rooms have fans, air-conditioners and a bar fridge, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone. But, that’s not all - we also have a luxurious suite that goes above and beyond our other rooms, complete with a private pool that is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the African sun. We’re proud to say that our lodge has just had its 4-star TGCSA rating renewed, so you can be sure that you are in good hands when you stay with us. When you are not out on game drives, you can browse around our large curio shop or relax in a hammock alongside the sparkling pool. Alternatively, you could read, chat and have a drink in our outdoor bar and lounge, where you can enjoy breath-taking views of the bushveld overlooking our well-frequented waterhole. We have a variety of meal settings, be it breakfast in our indoor dining room, lunch on the lawn under a canopy of trees, or dinner in the boma where we serve up delicious campfire meals that will leave you feeling satisfied and content.
