Featured in an issue of Southern Living Magazine, this is a cozy, book-lined, recently renovated space with elegant decor and a wraparound sitting porch, located in a beautiful, mature, piedmont forest abounding with wildlife. There are hiking trails along New Hope Creek and others nearby. Very private and quiet but only 8 minutes from UNC Hospital, Hillsborough Campus, within 20 minutes of Duke, UNC-CH, NCCU, & historic Hillsborough —RDU only 30 minutes. Guests of all walks of life welcome. The space You'll be able to access the entire top two levels, including the full use of the wraparound porch with its table, chairs, and hammock. There is a TV monitor with the capacity to play a wide selection of DVDs and VHS videos. The back stairs are not for guest use. The bottom floor is a waiting room, Jim’s individual office for his very limited medical practice, and an administrative office for Libba. Guest access Hiking trails around our property are an especially nice feature. Other things to note This treetop apartment has a flight of outside steps to reach the porch and front door and a flight of rather narrow, inside stairs to the loft that has a queen-size bed, cedar-lined closet, bathroom, and a full-size piano. Both sets of steps have handrails on both sides.
