Swan Lake

Swan Lake is a newly constructed home in Southern Lancaster County. The house is situated on 12.5 Acres with pond, gazebo. This is a secluded family destination in Amish country but close to numerous amenities. You will enjoy beautiful views of the pond from all floors and decks. Numerous hiking trails and the Susquehanna River within minutes. Working Amish farms surround this property and yet you are within 30 Minutes of Lancaster City. PLEASE NOTE WE REQUIRE RENTERS TO BE A MIN Of 25 YRS OLD The space Private location in Southern Lancaster county's rolling river hills. This property sits in the middle of working Amish farmland. The location is secluded yet accessible to all the amenities of Lancaster City and the larger cities of Baltimore and Philadelphia. If you desire seclusion but close proximity to the amenities of bigger cities, you have found the right place. Internet is provided by Starlink Satellite with download speeds in excess of 150Mbps. Cell phone coverage is also very poor, so WIFI function on your cell would be required. The house does have a land line. Guest access Guest will be free to roam the property, including the gazebo. The owners may or may not be on the property. If we are on the property we stay in a separate building completely separated from the main house. If our presence on the property is an issue, please message prior to renting to verify our schedule. Other things to note Cell Phone service is not reliable at this location. We do offer a land line, and cell phone calls would need to be through your WIFI calling feature. Internet service is provided through Starling satellite dish, and speeds are quite fast. with regards to amenities: Please note we do supply bed linens, starter amounts of soap shampoo toilet paper and paper towels. We also supply towels, wash towels and hand towels. There will be some dishwashing liquid and dish washer pods. We ask guests to replenish supplies if the basic amount is used up. Please note we may be present on the property during your stay, in a separate out building. We also have animals and plants that need attended to on a daily basis, so it is possible the guest may see one of us taking care of these activities, typically early morning or evening. You have the entire home to yourself along with the gazebo and run of the pond and property. This is a large property with plants and animals that need taken care of daily. It’s possible renters may see us tending to these chores early morning and later in the day. We will do our best to stay out of our guests way. We do not enter the house or go on the decks during these chores.
