The cottage is located at the foot of Himmerod Abbey in the Vulkaneifel Nature Park. Hiking trails start right by the house. On the ground floor, there is an open kitchen with a large dining room, a living room with an optional sofa bed and a guest toilet. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 (forest view) with double bed and access to bathroom with large tub (shower function) and toilet. Bedroom 2 (monastery view) with double bed and shower and sink. The space Parking, free Internet Other things to note We have renovated a lot in the last year, new roof, new kitchen floor, new bathroom... Just as we wanted to reopen, the lower part of our site was slowly flooded with water. We are in a legal dispute with the alleged polluter, so the defect cannot be remedied at this time, but we also cannot advertise at the full price without receiving bad reviews. In the photos you can see that the chicken coop is under water and the front meadow is without grass - we can't lock up the chickens. The water should not affect them, only in the view from the bedroom, their part of the garden is not affected. Nevertheless, due to the defect, we have significantly reduced the price.
