To the east is Malibu Lagoon State Beach, known as Surfrider Beach for its waves. Nearby is the Spanish Revival–style Adamson House, with local history displays in its Malibu Lagoon Museum. Inland, trails weave through canyons, waterfalls and grasslands in the Santa Monica Mountains. Need a car to get around the neighborhood. There is a famous restaurant, Moonshadows, walking distance. Bus stop is at Big Rock traffic lights. - Beach is mostly used by locals. Limited public access to beach. - SWIM, KAYAK, PADDLE, BOOGIE BOARD, SURF and ALL OTHER WATER AND BEACH ACTIVITIES AT YOUR OWN RISK! - NO LIFEGUARDS on the beach! - Be aware and watch for rip currents. - This is a special beach and changes frequently due to tides (high / low). Look Malibu tide hours in web. - Beach might not accessible and dangerous when high tide arrives. We recommend that you enjoy each other's accompany and pictures setting. During high tide, it might be dangerous to be in the beach. (Be in beach AT YOUR OWN RISK!) - As you can imagine, living directly on the beach comes with its unique charms, including surface rust, sand, and water stains. While we make every effort to prevent these natural elements from affecting the property, it's important to acknowledge that they are part of the oceanfront living experience. Please note that due to the constant exposure to salty air, some furniture shown in the pictures may have been replaced and may not accurately reflect the current furnishings in the home. We strive to maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring that any necessary changes are made to accommodate the beachfront conditions. - Please be very clear about the total number of guests when booking this home. Anybody that will be entering our home is considered a guest, regardless of if they stay overnight. This home is a good fit for 3 guests but no more than that. We don’t allow more than 3 guests without approval. Penalty fee of $500 per guest per night applies after 3rd guest. (Penalty fee cannot be considered as an approval at any time). Booking quest will carry and assume all liabilities and responsibilities if unit is occupied with more than 3 people at any time of stay. - To ensure compliance with our booking policies, we require that the individual making the reservation is also one of the occupants who will be staying in the unit during the booked period. IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO MAKE A RESERVATION ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE. Any such bookings will be deemed invalid, and we reserve the right to cancel them without a refund. Additionally, it is important to note that any unauthorized entry onto the property by a non-occupant, including those who have booked through a third party, will be considered trespassing. In such cases, the person who made the booking will be held liable for any associated costs or damages, including but not limited to legal fees and the cost of any additional time spent by the property owner to resolve the issue. - No Pets are allowed. Penalty of $300/night per pet applies. - For late check out: Without prior authorization, there will be a fee of $250 for the first hour. If the check-out extends beyond the first hour, the full rate for the next day will be charged. - Guests must keep all doors, including sliding doors, locked when they are not on the property. Please note that we are not liable for any lost or stolen items.
