Water views surround you 180 degrees, making for a unique setting which will revitalize and re-energize your senses. Home is on a private 80 acre forest with miles of private hiking trails. Gore Mountain is ten minutes away. We have plenty of storage and racks for your skis, boots and clothing. Enjoy a roaring fire with friends and family after a full day of skiing. The space Our Home is tastefully appointed with furnishings which reflect the rustic style of the Adirondack Great Camps. Much of the furniture is hand made by local craftsmen using trees grown in our local forests. The result is an authentic, cozy experience that will force you to "slow down" and enjoy life as intended in such a beautiful setting. The Adirondack Park is one of the most pristine natural settings in the world. For those seeking to get away from it all, there are few other places in the country which will afford you the opportunity. We have fashioned our home to reflect the amazing natural beauty that surrounds us. Guest access The entire home is yours to enjoy. In the winter-time snow drifts may make it impossible to access the outside areas of the deck. Please take care when approaching the river in winter as the ice under the snow may not be solid. In the spring/summer time, if we get heavy rains the river will rise and currents in front of the house may be unsafe for children and pets. Please supervise your children if they choose to play in the water. Wifi is a satellite based system which is slower than cable. It is reliable and may not be the best choice for people looking to "work from home" during the Covid period. Also Cell service on the property may be spotty depending on network. Other things to note Please do not use the wood stove on the first level. The wood stove is not a fireplace. It is a back-up heating source that must be continuously monitored for safety. There is a working wood fireplace in the living room upstairs available for your usage. Open the flue before lighting. Do not leave the home unattended while burning wood. Please close the flue after usage.
