This lovely cabin in a sunlit clearing is the perfect retreat. Enjoy the open plan with wide plank hardwood floor and hand-hewn beams. An easy drive to Acadia; a short walk to Morgan Bay nature sanctuary. Take our kayak for a paddle, meditate at the nearby Zendo, or swim at glorious Surry Beach. At night, roast marshmallows at the firepit and stargaze (we're a Dark Sky community!) Take in a concert at the Surry Opera House, then head for Perry's, the best lobster shack in the state! The space Firefly Cottage is conveniently located--easy access to Acadia, Ellsworth, and Blue Hill. Great for hikers, swimmers, and bicyclists. Newbury Neck is a safe, wide road for even timid bikers and the water is fantastic. Guest access You will have the entire cabin to yourself, as well as 4 wooded acres, a grassy, sunlit clearing, and a deck. Other things to note Pets, even well-behaved ones, are not allowed. So sorry! We have significant allergies.
