Cliffside on Medina Lake

Magnificent views of hill country and relaxing vacation option for your family-perfect for weekend getaway …Located about 10 miles from downtown Bandera. You can enjoy the evenings in the shade under pergola watching the birds soar in the breeze and enjoy the mornings watching beautiful sunrises while you sip your coffee on back porch. We are on the Medina Lake but currently in drought conditions and lake close to empty- however the views are still amazing even with no water! We’d 🩷2 have U! The space There are many nearby activities to keep the family busy. You can sign up with one of the local businesses that offer horseback riding tours, go to the Medina River park or the Medina Lake park to swim or fish, go hiking in the Hill Country State Natural Area, shop for antiques downtown or in nearby Pipe Creek, and explore one or both of the museums in the downtown area. There are also board games, Wii console with a few games, horse shoes, magazines, and books to entertain yourself at the house. Guest access May have access to the house and the Pergola area. We would requests that guests (especially small children) NOT access the pathway down to the Lake because it is unimproved with a steep grade. Other things to note The home is a newer double wide manufactured home situated on an acre of land on the side of the cliff. It is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home. There is a concrete pad to park 2-3 vehicles. There is NO boat dock- there is NO access to lake from the property. We suggest looking on internet to check lake level. If it is empty- we are told by our neighbor that it makes for good fossil hunting and we still have an awesome view of the hill country! We live in the house next door and will be available if needed but otherwise will not bother you during your stay- however we cannot promise that the dog, the pig, or the chicken will not visit!
