For one person only, no visitors. 1000 square-foot lower apartment with large windows and lots of light--house is a backsplit so only 2/3 underground. Basement can be cool and hence not ideal for working from home. Separate entrance through quiet and sunny backyard with patio furniture. Simple kitchen has portable table top oven, single induction plate, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, kettle, blender, crock pot, rice cooker and steamer. Note: there is no full oven. Small desk for business or study. Wifi included. No laundry facilities, but there is a laundry close by, accessible by car. A vehicle is needed to get around. Renovated bathroom and bedroom with queen bed. Sheets, blankets and pillows provided, as well as towels. Parking for 1 vehicle. Park on the far left side of driveway to leave room for a car on the right side. You may hear a few creaky floor boards, but we are otherwise a quiet family. Loud sounds from the basement can travel up! House was built in the fifties with little insulation, typical of the time. Please take shoes off when entering. Place key in lock box when leaving premises, do not take with you. Quiet from 9 pm onwards. Guest access Access via private and independent entry through gate to backyard.
