Soetdoring Guest Farm - Accommodation and Venue

An intimate, yet social and vibrant place. With 10, 2 bed tent houses, situated around an extended family sized boma area and a typical thatched Lapa. A 2 bedroom farmhouse with a big living room, Soetdoring offers you comfortability, privacy and space in abundance. We can accommodate up to 60 day visitors for a function (30 sleep + 30 day visitors . Just over 60min drive from Jhb and less from Lanseria Airport. A stones throw away from the Southern-African bush-veld-family experience. The space A type of silence that you long for, escaping the busy buzz of the city for a quick overnight stay or a week of complete bliss. Situated at the foot of the Magaliesburg Mountain range in Hekpoort, 30 min drive from Hartebeespoortdam, and Krugersdorp. Surrounding hiking and biking trails to explore the mountains. Dining at the nearby Askari Game Lodge or have a cold beer at The Bru House while exploring surrounding tourist attractions. Travel back into time while enjoying the bonfire, listening to the jackal as the sun set or cuddle up in front of the fireplace on those romantic winter evenings. Guest access Soetdoring caters for private groups. Other than the farm manager and staff, you will have exclusive use of all the facilities. The group will have access to the farmhouse (sleeping 7 adults, 2 children under 12 years), the tent houses (sleeping 20 people) and a few camping sites. Guests have access to Boma's and Lapa with a fully equipped kitchen. Soetdoring can accommodate 60 people (30 sleeping + 30 day visitors). Music is welcome but please be considerate as sound travels to neighbouring farms. NO MUSIC after 22h30. Other things to note Even though this is a self catering farmhouse, Hekpoort offers a variety of entertainment options at nearby guesthouses and lodges. Askari Game Reserve with buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners are about 10min drive away, Black Horse Breweries and restaurant about 15min away and many, many more places within 5 - 15min drive.
