Studio with private entry with your own private yard and bathroom. We want you to have an exceptional stay, so please let us know how to make your stay exceptional. Please note:there is a mini fridge, Keurig, & outdoor grill but NOT a full kitchen. Within 10 Minute Walk: local restaurants, grocery store, Starbucks Target Express, and more Within 15 Minute Drive: Beaches, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Coronado. The place and location is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers! The space FURNISHED YARD AND ACCESS Through a private gate in the driveway, you enter the courtyard, which takes you to your studio. During your stay, the furnished yard with lounge chairs, dinner table, gas & charcoal grill is exclusively used by you only, and we do not access it at any time. From your studio you have direct access to the yard and direct access to your private bathroom and shower. Please note: while there is a mini fridge, grill, and Keurig, there is NOT a full kitchen. INSIDE YOUR STUDIO Plenty of natural light with big window looking into the yard and two smaller windows facing south. Separate air-conditioner with temperature settings is provided in the studio. A comfortable queen size bed, and a long desk under the big window to allow for a laptop setup or any work that you need accomplished during your stay. Bathroom with towels, shampoo and conditioner, and body wash. Also, inside the bathroom cabinet - toiletries, sun screen, and the basics to make your San Diego days as pleasant as possible. 32" Smart TV with HULU , Netflix, and local channels. Also, Bluetooth wireless headphones paired to the TV, and waiting for some action or relaxing music. A mini fridge with freezer and Keurig coffee maker as well as a wall mounted (can be folded and unfolded) breakfast table. FREE coffees, teas, hot cocoa, oatmeal (any of these can be made with Keurig coffee maker). Under the fridge, you will find silverware, wine glasses, plates, and bowls - everything you need to enjoy a meal. Boogie/Body boards provided inside your room. If you plan on surfing the waves with these bad boys, feel free to ask us for tips. PRIVACY AND INTERIOR NOISE The studio is attached to the south wing of the house. The yard is used exclusively by you. We stay in the north portion, so we are on opposite sides of the house, and you have total privacy. The only time you may know that we are in the house is when we are using the kitchen as it is opposite one of the walls to the studio. We are never loud and the most you would hear may be a muffled sound here and there, hopefully not loud enough to disturb you. The other three walls in the bedroom and bathroom are exterior walls facing the yard. Guest access A lockbox is attached to the stair handrail at the house main entry. With the keys from the lockbox, you will unlock the yard gate with the smaller key (the wood gate to the yard is to your right). Once you are a few steps into the courtyard, to your left you will see the stairs leading to your studio. Use the big key to unlock the door - this is it! Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE (for the light sleepers and those who like to sleep in): Please keep in mind the house is on a frequently used street, so there is potential for street noise. If you are like most of the people staying here, you are out exploring San Diego, mingling in the convention center, or hitting up the nearby beaches, so this should not be much of a concern for you. Also, the studio is within a couple of miles from to downtown and the airport (which is located on the opposite side of downtown) , so there is occasional airplane noise above. The windows are of high quality, but if you are looking for a soundless experience, that may be hard to achieve. Again, we understand that people have different tolerances toward noise, so PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US before you book for more information on this, if it is of concern to you. IMPORTANT NOTE (regarding parking): This studio only has street parking. Please do not park in the driveway even for a short period of time as other vehicles use the driveway. Street parking is available on 30th street and Broadway as well. We recommend that if you are going to be going out for nightlife and not returning until late in the evening, it may save you inconvenience to use Uber and Lyft. That way you will not be searching for parking late at night when street parking can be more scarce. It all depends on the days of the week and time of year that you are staying, and how used to city parking you are, however there is street parking for your use :) Registration Details STR-01241L, 622344
