Walking Hillcrest and Balboa park is a common activity for both locals and visitors. Bus stations are at a walking distance; Uber and Lyft are very popular in San Diego. If you are driving your own vehicle, we offer one garage stall per guest in our three car garage. Guest access After arriving at the main address, 1255 Essex Street, proceed to the front door (using door code) or the back door (through security gate) using the gate code sent to you. For safety, all outdoor spaces are under video surveillance at all times. All doors and gates are keyless; codes for the front gate, front door, laundry room and garage, will be provided, one to three days prior to arrival. Guests can use a credit card or their own personal code for the in-room safe box. Free high-speed internet provided. Cox Apple TV (living room) Other things to note Back door of the main house is through the common laundry area, which is a small addition off the back of main house. Once inside the laundry area, you will see two additional doors, one is a locked storage closet, and the other is a locked and private entrance to the main house. -Garbage receptacles are located by the entrance of the garage, under the steps of the apartments on either side. Please tie all bags before disposing. -For security purposes, it is important to keep garage doors, and both gates closed at all times. - All beach supplies, vacuum cleaner, iron/board, and plunger can be found in laundry area.
