Come and make memories that will last a life time! The space From the moment you arrive at this charming cabin, a rustic, romantic atmosphere will surround you. Enjoy preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The living area is a wonderful place to spend time as you snuggle up by the stone gas fireplace (operational October- March) on the leather sofa or comfy recliner and enjoy a DVD on the Blue-ray player from our collection, a movie via Netflix, or your favorite TV show on the 55 inch flat screen TV. The main level also features a game room with a full size pool table and game table. Games, playing cards and puzzles are provided for your convenience. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views as you sit out on the upper deck from the rocking chairs or the porch swing. A 1/2 bathroom is also located on the first floor. The lower level provides a romantic setting for two: Watch your favorite movies from the comfortable king size log bed on the 50 inch flat screen TV above a second cozy gas fireplace (operational October-March). A private area with Jacuzzi tub is just off the bedroom, as well as a large master bath with an over sized shower. You'll find a lower deck off the bedroom area where you will enjoy spending time in a large inviting hot tub while enjoying the lights of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge by night and the aerial tram and beautiful mountain views by day. You can plan a private cookout for two on the park-style charcoal grill located near the entry of the cabin. If you choose to go out for dinner, you will find excellent dining choices just a few miles down the mountain in downtown Gatlinburg or at Ober Gatlinburg. You may choose to drive a very short distance and park at Ober Gatlinburg and ride the Aerial Tram down the mountain to dine or shop in the many unique shops downtown. As a member of Chalet Village Owner's Club please use our membership card provided for access to three club houses on the mountain, each with pools (seasonal) and recreational areas. This card also offers discounts at numerous attractions and restaurants in the Gatlinburg area (a complete list is provided in our Visitor's Information Notebook in the cabin). Sitting high atop the ridge, it offers views of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Tram to the north and the majestic towering Mt LeConte through the bordering National Park to the east and south. (Note that when the leaves are on the trees the views are partially obstructed.) We provide a detailed notebook for your convenience and brochures describing the many activities in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park available during your stay. We are high atop Ski Mountain near the ski resort, Ober Gatlinburg, so it is important to note that you will be traveling on mountain roads to reach our elevation. The roads are in good shape, well-traveled, well-maintained by the city of Gatlinburg and do not require a 4WD vehicle unless a winter weather event occurs before or during your stay. Should roads become snow-covered, 4WD will be necessary to navigate the mountain roads and driveway. If you are lucky enough to experience the beauty of a Smoky Mountain snowfall, enjoy the gorgeous views and fun that await you!
